Ordering & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — all orders ship free within the United States. This includes large, heavy freight items like inverters, battery pallets, and solar panel packs. No minimum order value required for free shipping.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days ( Monday - Friday)  depending on your location and the size of the order. Large freight orders (pallets, heavy inverters) may take slightly longer. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Currently we ship within the US only. We are actively working on international shipping options — check back soon or contact us to be notified when international shipping becomes available.

How are large items shipped? Do I need to be home?

Heavy items such as inverters, battery systems, and solar panel pallets are shipped via LTL freight. For freight deliveries, we strongly recommend having someone present to inspect the shipment and sign for it. Please inspect packaging for visible damage before signing. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt before accepting.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can also track your order anytime at our Order Tracker page.

Do you charge sales tax?

VoltEdge Industries is registered in Wyoming, which has no state sales tax. For most customers shipping to addresses outside Wyoming, no sales tax is collected. Tax rules vary by state — if your state requires use tax reporting on out-of-state purchases, that responsibility falls to the buyer.

Products & Compatibility

Are your products certified for use in the United States?

Yes. Our solar panels carry UL 61730 certification. Our battery systems are UL1973 and UL9540A certified. Our inverters meet applicable US standards. Certification details are listed on each individual product page.

Will your inverters work with my existing solar panels?

In most cases, yes — our inverters are compatible with standard solar panel configurations. The key parameters to match are your panel string voltage (make sure it falls within the inverter's MPPT input range) and your system voltage (48V is the most common for our larger inverters). Contact our support team with your panel specs and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

Can I add your batteries to my existing solar system?

Our 48V LiFePO4 server rack and Powerwall batteries are compatible with most 48V hybrid inverters. If you have an existing system, contact us with your inverter model and we'll confirm which batteries are compatible. We do not recommend mixing battery chemistries (e.g., adding LiFePO4 to a system with existing lead-acid batteries).

What size inverter do I need for my home?

For a typical American home (1,500–2,500 sq ft) with standard appliances, a 6kW–12kW split-phase inverter is usually sufficient. For homes with central air conditioning, electric water heaters, or EV chargers, a 12kW–18kW system is recommended. Our team can help size your system — call us or use the Trade Pricing form to describe your load requirements.

How many battery modules do I need?

As a general rule, most homeowners want at least 10–15kWh of usable storage for meaningful overnight backup. A single 5.12kWh Powerwall gives you basic backup for lights and essential loads. Two units (10.24kWh) handle a full day of moderate usage. Four units (20.48kWh) support high-consumption households or multi-day backup. Contact us to calculate the right configuration for your specific usage.

What is a split-phase inverter and do I need one?

Most American homes run on 240VAC split-phase power — two legs of 120VAC that combine to power 240V appliances like dryers, HVAC, water heaters, and ranges. If you want your inverter to run your whole home including these appliances, you need a split-phase inverter. If you only need to power 120VAC loads (lights, refrigerator, small appliances), a single-phase unit is sufficient.

Returns, Warranty & Support

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items in their original, unused condition and original packaging. Freight shipping costs for returns may be deducted from your refund for large items. Contact us at info@voltedgeindustries.com to initiate a return.

What warranty do your products come with?

Warranty terms vary by product type: Solar panels carry a 25-year performance warranty. Inverters typically carry a 1–5 year manufacturer warranty. Battery systems typically carry a 3–5 year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Specific warranty terms are listed on each product page. As an authorized reseller, all warranties are fully honored.

What do I do if my product arrives damaged?

Inspect your delivery before signing the freight receipt. If you notice visible damage: (1) Note it on the delivery receipt, (2) Take photos of the damage before moving the item, (3) Contact us within 24 hours at info@voltedgeindustries.com or +1 (646) 631-8742. We will arrange a replacement or freight claim on your behalf.
